Seth Damski

Founding Partner

Seth founded Old City in 2006 and oversees its key investing and capital placement activities. Previously, from 2001 to 2006, he advised family offices on alternative investment strategy and manager selection at Merrill Lynch & Co. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Seth was a Director at SITE Capital Management, a New York-based hedge fund, after beginning his career as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Prudential Volpe Technology Partners, a San Francisco investment bank. He is active in several non-profit organizations, including as chair of the Harvard Club of New York’s Philanthropy and Non-Profit Group. Seth graduated with honors from Harvard College, is Series 3, 7, 24 & 66 licensed and is an Investment Advisor Representative.

George Sirignano

Managing Partner

George manages Old City’s investing and capital placement businesses, including those of its SEC-registered broker-dealer, and acts as the firm’s general counsel. He began his career as a corporate and securities lawyer at Davis Polk in New York, where he handled regulatory and transactional matters for financial institutions and industrial clients. Following Davis Polk, George oversaw the Latin America business of Sotheby’s auction house, with responsibility for corporate strategy, operations, and client development in the region. Immediately prior to Old City, George was a Director at Guggenheim Partners Latin America, an investment advisory firm. George graduated with honors from Harvard College and Columbia Law School, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Nisha Atre

Partner, Director of Research

Nisha leads Old City’s research processes, and handles several of the firm’s key client and investor relationships. Previously, Nisha was the Senior Analyst focused on due diligence of hedge fund managers at Larch Lane Advisors, a fund of hedge funds and seeding platform. Prior to Larch Lane, she was a Vice President at Mellon Ventures, an internal private equity fund at Mellon Financial (now BNY Mellon), investing in technology and business services companies. Nisha is a Board Member and Executive Committee Member of the North Star Fund. She graduated from Harvard College and Columbia Business School, and is Series 3, 7 & 65 licensed.

Ryan Gold

Senior Advisor

Ryan is a Senior Advisor to Old City, closely collaborating with the firm on select capital-raising initiatives and helping it to originate new business opportunities, and is a Co-Founder of The Maeson Group, a consulting firm and business development partner to a diverse array of asset management clients. Ryan was a Vice President in the Capital Services Group at Credit Suisse Securities, where he handled capital-raising for numerous and varied top hedge fund clients of the firm. Prior to Credit Suisse, Ryan was a Senior Analyst at family office Concord Management, sourcing and evaluating alternative investment managers, and earlier was Controller at Forester Capital. Ryan is a CPA and began his career at PwC. He is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and is Series 7, 63 & 65 licensed.

Eytan Feldman

Partner, CFO/CCO

Eytan oversees Old City’s finance function and its business operations, and handles regulatory compliance matters for the firm’s SEC-registered broker-dealer. Previously, he was a Principal at Arel Asset Management, a boutique investment bank in New York focused on structured products offerings. Eytan began his career as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Atria Senior Living, a healthcare services company based in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Fordham University in 2008, and is Series 7, 24 & 65 licensed.

Ethan Keswin

Senior Advisor

Ethan is a Senior Advisor to Old City, closely collaborating with the firm on select capital-raising initiatives and helping it to originate new business opportunities, and is a Co-Founder of The Maeson Group, a consulting firm and business development partner to a diverse array of asset management clients. Ethan was formerly a Managing Director at Bear Stearns dedicated to coverage of the hedge fund industry, and began his career at Lehman Brothers. He graduated from the University of Michigan and is Series 7 licensed.

Trevor Barnett

Senior Advisor

Trevor is a Senior Advisor to Old City, closely collaborating with the firm on select capital-raising initiatives and helping it to originate new business opportunities, and is the Founder of Circular Formation, a firm dedicated to growth-oriented capital partnerships with emerging companies in the alternative asset management, services and health & wellness sectors. Prior to Circular Formation, Trevor established and led as CEO the U.S. broker-dealer and holding company of Challenger Ltd., a Sydney, Australia-based publicly listed Asset Management and Life Company. He is a Director of the Board at the Anacostia Riverkeeper and a member of the Society of Fellows at the Aspen Institute. Trevor graduated from St. Lawrence University, and is Series 6, 7 & 24 licensed.

Audrey Weitz

Managing Director

Audrey manages many of Old City’s important investor relationships and is regularly engaged in sourcing differentiated investment opportunities for the firm and its clients. Audrey began her career in politics, developing and managing an innovative fundraising apparatus for the Democratic National Committee’s Northeast region. More recently, she oversaw business development for an Israeli technology company, ImageID, and launched a successful lifestyle brand, SpeakNicely. She graduated with honors from the University of California and is Series 82 and 63 licensed.

Douglas Sloane

Managing Director

Doug raises capital for alternative investment funds, including hedge and private equity funds, as well as for direct investments in private transactions. Prior to joining Old City in 2016, Doug worked in a similar capacity at OCP Capital, a New York based broker dealer. He has worked internationally, for Wessex Asset Management, a London-based hedge fund, as director of marketing, and for Vision Investment Management, a Hong Kong-based seeder of Asian hedge funds. Prior to Vision, he worked for StoneWater Capital, an Asia- focused fund of hedge funds, and for Integre Advisors, an emerging U.S. equities-focused investment manager. He is the chair of the Board of Directors of Roosevelt Island Day Nursery. Doug graduated from Swarthmore College and Yale University School of Management, and is Series 7 & 63 licensed.

Olga Ovodenko

Managing Director

Olga assists both established and emerging alternative investment management firms with capital-raising and investor relations matters, leveraging deep experience with both public and private alternative investment products developed beginning in 2005 during her tenures at Davidson Kempner and Lombard Odier. Olga is a board member with iMentor and the New York Athletic Club, as well as an active member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle. She graduated from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business and is Series 7 & 63 registered.

Aaron Bossard

Director, Manager Diligence

Aaron is responsible for Old City’s investment and operational due diligence functions, and coordinates communications and placement efforts across Old City’s Broker-Dealer Platform. He also manages certain key relationships of the firm with asset manager clients and institutional investors. Aaron was accepted into the Federal Reserve’s Economic Scholars Program for an econometric research paper submitted to the Dallas Federal Reserve’s review board, and served as the President of the Investment Society of Muhlenberg College, where he graduated in Economics and Finance. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, and is Series 7 & 63 licensed.

Avi Sage

Director, Business Development

Avi is engaged in development of new client and investor relationships of the firm, as well as support of due diligence functions and coordination of placement efforts across Old City’s Broker-Dealer Platform. Avi joined Old City after gaining experience in alternative investments at Hain Capital, a distressed debt hedge fund with a focus on trade claims. Avi served as the President of Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international economics honor society at Touro College, where he graduated in Finance with distinction. He is Series 82 and 63 licensed.

James Rulli

Director, International Investments

James is based in London and is responsible for developing Old City’s client base in the European market and beyond. Previously, James was the Director of Business Development at Data Capital Management (DCM), a quantitative hedge fund in New York. Prior to DCM, James co-founded software company PaySecure and was a Director at Impact Consulting. James graduated in Business Management from Queen Mary University of London.
